The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Benefiting THON is a family of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters. EMS Benefiting THON student leaders provide dedicated support to THON, the Four Diamonds Fund, and families whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer. They provide EMS Benefiting THON's adopted families with emotional stability and build relationships that they will cherish far into the future. Their unwavering commitment motivates them to fundraise relentlessly and honorably, while remembering what THON is truly about: helping the families. We are One College, One Love, One Fight.
McKenna Burke has been participating in THON all four years at Penn State through the EMS student organization EMS Benefiting THON. The senior majoring in meteorology and atmospheric science says her interactions with EMS four families and her time during the event has led to some lasting memories.
