Commencement exercises for Penn State graduate students are held three times a year: at the end of the fall and spring semesters and at the end of the summer session.

Commencement for the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Graduation for Master's & Doctoral Candidates

In order to reserve a seat, all graduating students planning to attend the ceremony must go to https://secure.gradsch.psu.edu/cosign/registrations/commencement/ to register.
Guests and Tickets
There is no limit on the number of guests and tickets are not required.
To support the health and safety of the Penn State community — and in accordance with University measures — all graduating students and guests who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 will be required to wear masks while inside campus buildings during commencement weekend, including in the Bryce Jordan Center during commencement ceremonies.
