The Wilson Research and Travel Support Grant is intended to catalyze collaboration-centered research, foster resource sharing and co-authorship, and open new pathways for extramural funding — including opportunities with nontraditional funders. The grant can help cover initial costs such as travel for establishing or deepening research partnerships, piloting joint research activities, sharing data and resources, or organizing collaborative workshops. It also supports the acquisition of small equipment or professional services not otherwise available, as well as the dissemination of research outcomes in strategic venues.
Funding amount
Awards for research activities and travel are up to $5,000. Awards are disbursed on a first come, first served basis until funds are depleted. NO department/institute match is required; however, if a match is available, it may increase the chance of funding. The award period is one year and any unspent balance at the end of the award period will be returned to the college for reallocation.
