More About Me
In my current occupation, I am an international and domestic geo-scientist that works in the oil, gas, and mining industries.
Thanks to the tools I obtained while at Penn State, I was able to serve as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Oil and Gas at the United State Department of Energy.
At the start of my Penn State career, I was actually a music major!
In my free time, I love to go fishing.
During my time at Penn State, I was greatly impacted by Dean Charles Hosler. He was the one who encouraged me to come to the university as a part of the college’s diversity program.
More than thirty years after graduation, I still have the career that I dreamed about having as a graduate student in 1979.
Of all of the Penn State traditions, Arts Fest is my favorite!
My advice to current undergraduates would be to stay connected to the college after graduation and become an active alum.
My fondest Penn State memories are of the friends I made, many of whom I still keep in touch with.
If I were still a college student, I would definitely try to get to more football games. We Are!
When I want to relax, I love to watch my favorite movie, Waking Life.
