The Penn State Alumni Association will honor 10 prominent young alumni at the Alumni Achievement Awards on March 23. Alumni Achievement Award recipients are nominated by an academic college or campus and invited by the president of the University to return to Penn State to share their expertise with students and the University community. Edward C. Dowling Jr., a graduate of the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, was awarded the lifelong title of Alumni Fellow by the Penn State Alumni Association earlier this fall. The Alumni Fellow Award is the most prestigious award given by the Penn State Alumni Association.
