The overall goal of the Master of Science in Additive Manufacturing and Design and the Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing and Design is to educate students and working engineers to become technically outstanding experts in additive manufacturing.
Specifically, graduates of these programs will be able to:
- Apply foundational knowledge, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity to the effective use of additive manufacturing technologies, design tools, and methodologies.
- Grow as leaders in manufacturing while upholding the highest ethical standards in applying additive manufacturing to industry-relevant problems and design challenges.
- Contribute to the advancement of the state of the art in additive manufacturing and design.
- Develop innovative, industry-specific solutions through the application of emerging design paradigms.
