Five Questions
What would be your dream job and how did EMS put you closer to this goal?
My dream job is to be a petroleum engineer, and EMS has provided me with the proper education to pursue my goals.
What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am mainly involved in the Penn State Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. I serve as the media outreach chair for the organization, and the club is a great way to meet new people within your major, connect with industry members, and stay involved within EMS.
What is the one Penn State activity that everyone should participate in, and why?
The number one activity that Penn State students should participate in are the football games. Tailgating, being in the student section, and watching Penn State win with your close friends is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There is no better feeling than a game-weekend in State College.
Why did you decide to attend Penn State?
I decided to attend Penn State because of the school’s atmosphere and fantastic education. There is so much to do in your free time and the school provides a great atmosphere for their students. This great atmosphere is also paired with great professors and classes for you to excel as a student while also enjoying your time at the university.
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective students?
Never take your time here for granted. There are so many great memories to be made at Penn State. While there are some stressful times, you will also have the best four years of your young adult lives at Penn State, and you should cherish every moment here.
