Eligibility and Information About the Fund Q: Am I eligible to receive an emergency grant? Emergency grants are available to current EMS students who have successfully completed at least one semester within the last year and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Q: What is the maximum amount I can request? The maximum grant is $250. Q: What are examples of emergencies? Examples of emergencies include, but are not limited to:extraordinary circumstances, such as loss of a job, loss of a parent, car repairs, living expenses, food, books and supplies for course work, transportation and travel costs.
