The Non-Tenure-Line Faculty Advisory Committee provides avenues for non-tenure-line faculty to serve as a group in discharging the aims and objectives of the college, and to submit proposed actions through appropriate channels to the college and University administration.
Committee Members
The Non-Tenure-Line Faculty Advisory Committee is composed of a representative from each subunit in EMS that has three or more non-tenure-line faculty members at the beginning of each academic year. In the event that a subunit has less than three eligible NTL faculty members, a faculty member may have the option of representation through self-nomination, where they will be added to a pool of nominated faculty from similar subunits, and selected by the Dean's office for the upcoming academic year. Committee members serve three-year terms that are staggered to ensure institutional continuity. Brandi Gaertner and Steve Seman were co-chairs of this committee for 2025-2026.
