We have more than 265 faculty in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences involved in all aspects of earth, energy, and materials sciences. Highly esteemed in their research fields, our faculty are advancing the frontiers of knowledge and improving quality of life through their research. Our faculty are also dedicated to teaching the next generation of leaders and are approachable mentors who help our students learn and prepare for their careers. Our faculty frequently collaborate with investigators in other departments, Penn State colleges, and other institutions as they seek scientific advances in research that will benefit the citizens of the Commonwealth and beyond.
