For each occurrence of hail of diameter 0.75 inches or greater, the date in the form month-day-year is given. In the next column, the hour and minutes (to the nearest minute) that the hail was observed are given (in Central Standard Time), using a 24-hour clock.
The next two columns are the latitude and longitude (in degrees and minutes) of the location where the hail was observed. For example, 3517 means 35 degrees 17 minutes North latitude, while 10646 means 106 degrees, 46 minutes West longitude.
The next column gives the diameter of the hail, in inches. The next column gives the county code for the county in which the hail was observed. Here are files for decoding these numerical codes. Finally, the last column gives the number of injuries resulting from the hail.
