Isomerization Submodels

C4Isom.mod

The C4Isom.mod block produces IC4 from NC4. Preferably, locate the block downstream of the Alky unit.

Feed: Not entered by user. Pool NC4 is used.

Products: None for the BFD. IC4 is added to the IC4 pool.

Parameters: 1) CapMode – Option 0 implies that all the required IC4 is produced, and excess NC4 sold (or purchased if insufficient). Option 1 implies that all the available NC4 is charged and excess IC4 sold (or purchased if insufficient).

Units of Measure: BBL, Klb, °F, MMBtu

C5C6Isom.mod

The C5C6Isom.mod block converts C5 and C6 naphtha to more branched paraffins.

Feed: Not entered by user.

Products: Isomerate

Parameters: 1) Recycle – 0 means once through, 1 means molecular sieve separation and recycle.
