ENERGY CHOICES

Perhaps no other aspect of our modern lives has so significant an impact upon our Earth as our choices regarding the way we use energy.

Our traditional use of fossil fuels to supply our energy is widely regarded as a major source of environmental problems, most significantly global climate change.

Many of these problems can be greatly lessened through improvements in energy efficiency.

We can also alter the sources from which we derive our energy. Several renewable energy sources offer great potential, such as:

Solar

wind

geothermal
