Recently the U.S. News & World Report released its annual graduate school rankings. The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences scored five programs in the top 10. The geochemistry program is ranked No. 2 and geology ranks No. 3. The petroleum engineering program ranked No. 5, geosciences ranked No. 7 and materials science and engineering No. 10.
