The location is Park Forest Middle School, off Valley Vista Dr./ Amblewood Way, near the Park Forest/ Valley Vista exit 69 of US Route 322 & 220 west of State College, PA. Over a dozen vendors will sell mineral and fossil specimens, jewelry, beads, gem-cutting and jewelry-making supplies, books, and tools. Nittany Mineralogical Society will hold a members' consignment sale and silent auctions including kids' sections. There will be many learning opportunities for everyone in the family, with formal classes on jewelry-making topics (sign up and pay in advance), informal classes or demonstrations including rock crafts, gem cutting and gold panning, lectures by experts, displays of minerals and gems, field trips, and sales of good food. The show will be open Saturday 10 - 6 and Sunday 11 - 5; admission is $5.00 (good for both days with an entry ticket), with kids 12 and under and scouts in uniform free with an adult.
