College Mission Statement
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences will be a world leader in earth, materials, and energy sciences and engineering. As such, we will create, integrate, and transform fundamental understanding of earth, materials, and energy processes and how humans interact with them. We will use this knowledge to help provide the newest and best materials and energy for society and the science for a secure and sustainable planet. We will train our students to possess the depth and breadth of understanding needed to meet the needs of academia, industry, government, and broader society.
