Under Dean Barron's direction, an EMS Stewardship Working Group was established in May 2005 to discover stewardship practices and engage in stewardship strategic planning.

1. Enhanced communication

* discover ways to enhance internal communication between units, the College, and the University

* discover ways to enhance external communication to our stakeholders

2. Development of stewardship processes

* development of best practices for stewardship

* provide training

* provide access to needed information

* access current databases and develop tools for stewardship

3. Promotion of Culture of Stewardship

* develop minimum standards for stewardship across the College
