Fixed-Term and Research Faculty Advisory Committee
This group addresses the needs and concerns of the fixed-term research faculty in EMS.

Academic Integrity Committee
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Academic Integrity Committee is in place for the review of contested cases of academic integrity on the part of the accused student. Since most cases are settled between the instructor and the student, convening the committee is a rare occurrence. The committee is comprised of three faculty members (one who is the chair), one department head, one faculty alternate, and two students (one undergraduate and one graduate). A committee member serves a maximum of four years on the committee, beginning as faculty alternate, serving as a faculty member for two years, and finishing the fourth year as committee chair. Department heads serve for two years, on a rotating basis. Students are nominated and selected for service, and may be reappointed.

Facilities Committee
The Facilities Committee coordinates and oversees facility projects within College. Questions regarding facilities can be directed to Larry Achterberg or call 814-865-6546.
EMS Safety Committee
The EMS Safety Committee establishes procedures, responsibilities, and duties to promote planning and to establish training for employees and individuals in the College in the event of an emergency. Questions regarding safety issues in the College can be directed to Rhonda Stoner or call 814-865-5709.

Staff Advisory Committee (SAC)
This group addresses the needs and concerns of the staff in the College and serves as liason between EMS staff and the Dean. The Staff Advisiory Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month.
