Faculty Mentoring Awards
Nominations are being accepted for the
Faculty Mentoring Awards in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences
This award was created to honor faculty members in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences for their outstanding work in mentoring or assisting others. All nominations are due in the Dean's Office, 116 Deike, by February 15. Please submit three copies of the nomination material for each nominee.
Nominations
Nominations may be made in three categories:
- faculty members mentoring undergraduate or graduate students
- senior faculty members mentoring junior faculty members
- faculty members assisting under-represented students
Department Heads and Institute Directors shall each submit a nomination of a faculty member stating the reason(s) why the individual should receive this award.
Presentation
The recipient will receive a small monetary award and a recognition memento at the Wilson Awards Banquet held each spring.
