Diversity Committee

The College Earth and Mineral Science recognizes diversity as a broad and multifaceted issue that is inclusive of nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability and religion.  We strongly support the University’s nondiscrimination policy and seek to provide an environment of mutual respect among individuals of all background and those holding differing perspectives and ideas. Diversity plays a central role in our College’s core mission to prepare our students to be able to live, work, and lead in a global environment. The EMS Diversity Committee is charged by the dean to assess and improve the diversity of the College as a place to work and study.  Committee members represent every area of the college and consist of faculty, staff members and the Associate Dean for Educational Equity.
