The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is a world leader in earth, materials, and energy sciences and engineering. As such, we create, integrate, and transform fundamental understanding of earth, material, and energy processes and how humans interact with them. We use this knowledge to help provide the newest and best materials and energy for society and the science for a secure and sustainable planet. We train our students to possess the depth and breadth of understanding needed to meet the needs of academia, industry, government, and broader society.
